Eat
Brother’s Pizza
Situated on the outskirts of Rincon’s Town Plaza, Brother’s Pizza is a small, hole in the wall restaurant serving up killer pizza and empanadas. From classics like slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza to traditional Puerto Rican fare like carne, pollo, and even pizza (!) empanadas, Brother’s has it all.
El Carbon Rotisserie Chicken
I have dreams about El Carbon to this day. Situated on the drive on 115 into Rincon, this place cannot be skipped! Lines of rotisserie chickens make up this roadside shack’s face and while you may not see it at first, you can smell the delicious smell of the roasting meat from miles away. They give you the most bang for your buck serving you half a chicken, rice, your choice of side, and a drink all for just $6! The portions are HUGE, leaving you with a perfect post-surf snack later.

Tamboo Bar & Seaside Grill
Tamboo, albeit a rather touristy spot, is a fun place to stop and grab a meal that’s a little bit nicer than the little hole in the wall restaurants that fill Rincon. It’s a great place to sit back, drink a margarita, and eat some good fish tacos while you watch the waves roll in.

The Coffee Spot
While not actually in Rincon (located in Aguadilla), The Coffee Spot is a perfect place to grab a cup on your way to/from Playa de Jobos. We stumbled upon this gem in direct result of my caffeine withdrawal and the coffee (espresso) was so good I took two bags home with me and still get the same coffee to this day!

Rincon Art Walk
If you’re ever in Rincon on a Thursday, the Rincon Art Walk is a MUST!
Located in Rincon’s Town Plaza, this is far more than just your average market. Dozens of vendors and stands flooded the plaza selling things like fresh fruit, homemade chocolate (that tasted like NO other chocolate I’ve ever had), baked goods, paletas, honey, clothing, and handmade art pieces.
Pro Tip: After you’ve loaded up on star fruit, quenepas, raw cacao fudge, guava cheesecake bread, and local honey and have sat back and enjoyed the live music, head on over to Brother’s Pizza (located directly beside the Plaza) to feast on delicious pizza and empanadas.
Playa Domes
Located next to Punta Higuero Light, this little cove is beautiful and although we didn’t get the chance to actually go down to the water, the views were absolutely beautiful.
Punta Higuero Light
Forever fueling the worldwide love of lighthouses.
Steps Beach
Playa de Jobos
This place is seriously gorgeous. With crystal clear waters ideal for snorkeling, a reef providing perfect surf, an insane water hole, and places selling fresh coconuts and empanadas within steps from the beach, this place is perfect.
Aguadilla Farmers Market
We ~almost~ didn’t stop here, but I am SO glad we did! They have tons a wide variety of homegrown produce, perfect for any tropical fruit lover. Buy the freshest and brightest rambutan you’ve ever seen, some guava, lilikoi, soursop, local honey, or branch out and try the Inga edulis, or the “Ice Cream Bean”, a hard shelled bean pod with fruit that tastes just like cotton candy!
Shop
Mar Azul Surf Shop
Located in Rincon, stopping by this surf shop is a must for anyone looking to catch a few waves! Whether you’re a newbie or pro, there’s a board for you! Rentals are done by the day, meaning you can rent for as long as you need.
Stay
Casa Isleña Inn
This former beach house turned hotel is one of a kind. Situated directly on the beach, you can sit poolside (or in your room) and watch the waves roll in. The landscaping was beautiful and makes you feel like you’re in your own personal beach home rather than some hotel.
